Route Notes BC 13/04 5350m C1 21/04 6100m C2 22/04 6550m C3 19/05 7100m C4 20/05 7900m (Everest C4) Lhotse Summit: On 23 May by Schellens, Stenderup, Siddhi Tamang at 10 am On 24 May by Sidney Pattison, Ingvild Settemsdal, Lhakpa Dendi Sherpa at 12 noon. 23 May Lhotse summit team had come down from Everest on 21 May to C4. They rested the whole of 22 May and on morning of 23 May they left Everest C4 at about 5 am. Straightforward climb, but it was very windy. They spent about 15 minutes on summit and descended to C2, where they arrived at about 4 pm. 24 May Lhotse summit team: Pattison had spent 3 nights at C4 as he had climbed up with the Everest summit group. After summiting Everest Settemsdal spent a night a C4 on Everest. On 24 May, they left C4 at 7 am. Spent about 15 minutes on the summit and descended to C2, where they arrived at about 5:30 pm. Everyone down at BC on 25 May. Left BC 26 May (heli). Oxygen: Taken and used from C2 to top or high point to C2 by members and guides, From C4 to top to C4 by Sherpas. Robert Kelso Smith was an Adventure Consultants client on the Madison permit.
