Route Notes BC 17/04 5350m C1 21/04 6100m C2 24/04 6400m C3 14/05 7100m C4 15/05 7800m Smt 16/05 by Plain and Pemba (Pangboche) at 5:15 pm. Smt 21/05 by Rehn and Pemba (Makalu region) at 7:30 am. 16 May summit team left C4 at 8 am. The reason they left so late was that they were with the rope-fixing Sherpas. They spent about 15 minutes on the summit and descended to C2, where they arrived at 9 pm. Plain was called "Strong Steve", he was very fast and that's why they were so fast. 21 May summit team left C4 at 4 am. Conditions were good. They descended to C2, where they arrived at 8 pm. Oxygen: Taken and used from C3 to top to C3 by members for Lhotse and Everest Sherpas from C4 to top to C4 on Lhotse and Everest.
