Route Notes BC 22/04 5350m C1 26/04 6100m C2 27/04 6400m C3 18/05 7200m C4 19/05 7750m HPt 19/05 7750m by Biswas. When Biswas reached C4 on 19 May at noon he heard that Ang Phurba took a fall from Lhotse. He immediately descended to C3 the same day. On 21 May he reached C2. He stayed there until 24 May and ascended again for another summit push. He reached C3 on 25 May. On 26 May he descended to BC due to bad weather. Expedition abandoned. Oxygen: C3 to top (high point) to C3 by Biswas; C4 to top to C4 by Sherpa [??].
