| Route Notes | BC 16/04 5350m C1 23/04 6100m C2 26/04 6473m C3 30/04 7100m C4 04/05 7750m HPt 04/05 7750m by Ruehrlinger on acclimatization. Ruehrlinger reached C4 during his acclimatization rotation (he was going to climb without oxygen). When he heard that Ang Phurba (from Arun Treks) fell to his death, he was at BC and decided to abandon his climb. Lohaus reached C3 on 21 May, but when he heard that a Dutch man died on Everest and he abandoned the expedition. Dunn reached C1 on 23 April and left the expedition for personal reasons. Wright reached C1 on 23 April; he was suffering from a bad cough and left expedition early. Sanchez never left BC; his father died and he left the expedition on 18 April. |
