Route Notes Team left C4 at 2 am. Perfect weather. Bit of rockfall when other people came down. They spent 10 minutes on summit. Descended to C3, arrived at 5 pm. Egocheaga descended to C2, but went back to C2 to pick up Marco Comfortola. He reached C3 at 6 pm and both Egocheaga and Confortola descended to C2, arrived at 3 am on 22 May. On 22 May Hamor and Colibasanu packed up to C2 and descended to BC on 23 May. Ionescu reached 7400m on 20 May, but he did not feel well and descended to C2. Note: The summit claims of Marco Confortola for ANN1, DHA1, LHOT, MAKA and KANG are now in dispute; see articles published by Explorers Web and Lo Scarpone (portal of the Italian Alpine Club). The summit photo presented by Confortola appears to be an altered summit photo of Jorge Egocheaga; see the article "How to Spot a Fake Summit Photo" published by Outside Magazine, 30 October 2025.
