| Route Notes | Oxygen: Up: from C3 begin to use oxygen for climbing and for sleeping; Down: used oxygen until reached C2 Yang, Rao, Sange and Mingma left C4 at 10 pm on 18 May. Yang and Sange reached summit at 8 am on 19 May. Rao and Mingma reached to the top at 9 am. All climbers stayed on summit for about 10 minutes. Yang and Mingma returned C4 at 10 am, they had rest for a while and went down to C2. Rao and Mingma came down to C2 about 3 hours later. They waited for other Chinese team coming down from Everest. One member of the Everest team died while descending. All of them went down to BC and same day to Kathmandu by helicopter. The summit day was windy. |
