Route Notes Bhattacharya, Ghosh, Karma Gyalzen and Nga Tashi left C4 at 9:30 pm on 24 May. They got to the top at 7 am on 25 May. The team members and Sherpas stayed on the summit for about 20 minutes, then descended to C4 where they arrived at 12 noon and continued to C2 where they spent the night. The next day 26 May the team went down to BC. The climbers who summited ahead of the Bhattacharya team were members of the Indian army, an Iranian woman and some other climbers. The summit weather was very good. Bhattacharya said that one Czech climber died on 19 May and one on 25 May, probably Russian. [Note; body of Czech Pavel Kalney retrieved on 25 May 2012 - died in 2006.] The high point for Ms. Bhattacharya was C4; she got tired.
