Route Notes Summit on 24 May by Morse, Lhakpa Dorje and Pasang [at 8:30 am]. Summit team left C2 at 2 am. They experienced bad rockfall in the couloirs. Morse said it was good luck that nobody else was on the route, otherwise they probably would not have gone up. Just below the summit they walked past the dead Czech, who had died the previous week. He was still clipped into the rope. Weather was good. They stayed in top for about 1 hour and descended to C2, where they arrived at 6 pm. On 25 May they took a helicopter from BC to Lukla and then to Kathmandu. Oxygen: Taken and used from C3 to top to C3 by Morse. From C4 to top to C4 by Sherpas.
