Route Notes C2 in Western Cwm C3 on West Face C4 below couloir. The expedition's summit party consisted of Holt, Vickers, Ang Dorje and Sange, who left their C4 at 11:00 am on 20 May and summited on the 21st: Holt and Sange at 5:30 am and Vickers with Ang Dorje at 7:30 am. All descended to C2: Holt and Sange arrived there at 10:00 am and waited there for the other two to join them since this was Ang Dorje's first 8000-meter summit. Their arrival times at C2 ranged between 5:30 and 8:00 pm because it was necessary to clear the camps as they went down. All were in BC on the 22nd. Holt used oxygen in C3 to the top to C2, but Vickers used none at all. Their Sherpas used it from above 7500m to the summit to C4.
