Route Notes	High point at 7700m at C4. The two-man team pitched their C4 at 7700m on 24 May. A couple of hours before they were to push off for the summit, Laidlaw developed pulmonary edema; so instead of going for the summit, at midnight of the 24/25 they started down. They rested in C2, then continued down to BC, where they arrived at 9:00 am on the 25th. They left BC on the 27th, and on the 29th Laidlaw recovered. Their plan had been to ski down from the summit to the bottom of the West Face. During their acclimatization period, on 16 May they did ski from the Yellow Band at about 7400m to C2 at 6400m in the Western Cwm.
