Route Notes C1 at top of Icefall C2 in Western Cwm C3 on West Face C4 below couloir and lower end of the turtle on West Face. Mansikka led one team to Everest and a group of different members to Lhotse. One member reached the summit on 19 May and two other members followed on the next day. O'Dochartaigh and Lhakpa Nuru left C4 for the summit at 5:00 am on 19 May and were on the top at 1:30 pm. O'Dochartaigh stopped his descent at C4, while Lhakpa Nuru went down to C2. Lhakpa Nuru was in BC on the 20th, while O'Dochartaigh joined him there on the 21st. Meanwhile Danks and Valloton had left C4 on 20 May to go to the summit. Danks with Phurbu Wangchu started up at 4:00 am, were on the top at 1:00 pm, returned to C4 at 4:00 pm, and were down in C2 and the next day. Valloton and Sange left for the top at 8:00 am and reached the summit at 4:00 pm. Sange stopped in C3 at 6:00 pm, but Valloton continued down to C2 and arrived there at 7:00 pm; both were in BC on the 21st. Non-summiting members: Lindholm never went above BC; he had a breathing problem that was diagnosed as a collapsed lung and left the expedition on 11 April. Mansikka summited Everest instead of Lhotse. Oxygen was used by O'Dochartaigh from C3 to the summit to C3, and Lhakpa Nuru, who was with him, used it from C3 to the top to C4. Danks used it in C3 to the top to C2. Valloton used it from 8300m to the top to C3, while Sange, with her, used it from C3 to the top to C3.
