| Route Notes | High Mountain Military group expedition 2008 to Lhotse - Fernando Yarto Yarto wrote in his email that Borja, Gonzalez, Lopez and Yarto reached C4 on 20 May and slept there. A falling stone hit Borja's left leg while he was having dinner inside the tent at about 5:30 pm. Rescue operation started in the early morning on 21 May. Andres, Calvo and Tirapli reached C4 on 19 May. Martin and Verdugo climbed up to C3 on 10 May. Collao sent up to C2 on 29 April. The team returned to Kathmandu on 29 May and left on 31 May. |
