Route Notes BC on Khumbu Glacier C1 above the Ice fall C2 in Western Cwm C3 on Lhotse West Face C4 on Lhotse West Face. Miss Go, Kim Yun, Jumik, Pasang and Ang Tshering left C4 at 11:30 pm of 16 May, reached summit at 10:20 am of 17 May. Spent an hour on the summit, then escended to C4 at 6:30 pm. Next day to C2. First team to reach summit in this season. Other summiters on that day also were from Korea. Not much snow on the summit face. Summit time weather was good while descending it was windy, cloudy and snowing. After summit while at C2 Yun started suffering from stomach ache at 5 am. He was brought down to BC at 9:30 pm by member's Sherpas and Sherpas of Asian Trekking. All together there were seven Sherpas on the rescue operation of Yun. Next morning 7 am 20 May Yun was evacuated by helicopter to Kathmandu. It was appendicitis burst (Yun). The team returned to Kathmandu on 24 May and will leave on 29 May. Sherpas: Jumik Bhote, 6/6/78 (24/03/2035), Hatiya-1, Everest X2 Pasang Bhote, 17/10/84 (01/07/2041), Hatiya-1 Ang Tshering Bhote/Lama, 1/12/87 (15/8/2044), Hatiya-1 Miss Go plans to come for Manaslu with Miss Oh. Miss Go will be going to Pakistan for K2 in June.
