Route Notes Lhotse Spring 2008, led by Mario Andrighettoni - 28 May 2008 All three members, plus Antonelli's Sherpa, Tshering Jangbu, who climbed with Antonelli all the time, went to C4 together on 19 May. Antonelli and Tshering left for the top at 1:00 am on the 20th and reached the summit at 7:15 am. They were down in C2 at 2:00 pm and descended to BC the next day, the 21st. Andrighettoni and Mrs. Raffaelli (his wife), who had no Sherpas with them at anytime, left C4 at 2:00 am on the 20th, and reached the top of the couloir at 1:30 pm. They turned back here because they had been climbing too slowly and it was now too late to continue to the summit. They were back in C4 at 5:00 pm, descended to C3 on the 21st, C2 on the 22nd and BC on the 23rd. Raffaelli got mild frostbite on all of her toes in C3 during her descent.
