Route Notes De Stefani and Manni left C4 for summit on 21 May. De Stefani had stomach problem and turned around from couloir to C4. Next day to C3. Manni continued and got to summit around 12:45 pm [or about 11:45 am if Pemba Doma was there?]. The team returned to Kathmandu on 30 May? De Stefani on Lhotse - Willi Benegas - 29 May 2007 De Stefani went into the Lhotse couloir on the same day as the Czech Martin Minarik (which was 20 May, according to Minarik). But De Stefani had stomach trouble and went down to Lhotse C4 that day and to C3 the next day. Roberto Manni climbed to the summit, also without oxygen. He reached the summit 15 minutes after Mrs Pemba Doma. (Pemba Doma was on the top at 11:30 am of 21 May, according to the Ministry of Tourism's press release on 22 May). The Italians left BC the same day as Benegas, 27 May. They were in Pheriche on 27 May and Kathmandu on 30 May. They had arrived at BC one week after Benegas: Benegas arrived on 7 April. The Italians climbed without oxygen or Sherpas.
Accidents De Stefani suffered from stomach problem
