Route Notes	Summit team left C4 at 3 am together with Will Cross. Weather was clear. Snow conditions were difficult as there was a thin crust on top of snow. When they arrived on summit, Mrs Pemba Doma was on summit with other Sherpa. Descent was difficult to walk down face down so they down climbed. They overtook Pemba Doma on the down climb and heard her scream and saw her slip when they were at 8300m. Next thing they saw was Pemba and other Sherpa slipping past them. Blair said they were not going too fast but he could not stop them. Other Sherpa managed to stop himself. Whilst Pemba Doma slipped further and they lost sight of her. Blair and team helped the other climber, who was in shock, down to C4. They arrived at 5 pm. Martin Minarik (Czech) stumbled into Blair's tent at 12:33 am. Blair took him in and gave him tea and food. Next day C2 and BC on 23 May. Nawang Tenzing (01/02/60, Phortse) was with Will Cross (American on same Asian Trekking permit). Will Cross abandoned his summit bid and Nawang Tenzing then continued to summit with Blair Falahey (summit credited on LHOT-071-04).
