| Route Notes | C2 at deposit camp on 21 Dec at 7300m used one night An started from C3 at about 08:00 hours on 24 Dec, reached 8200m at about 19:00 hours with two Japanese expedition members, Kemmochi and Senda, and returned to C3 at about 20:30 hours. Next day An left C3 at 05:00 hours to BC (19:00 hours). Choi stayed at BC (no climbing). Kang climbed up to 8000m (C3) on 22 Dec and stopped, exhausted. Lee stayed at BC (no climbing). Kim went up to 6100m and stopped, exhausted. Seong went up to 7500m and stopped, exhausted. Both Pasang Bhotes went up to 8000m. Mingma Thindup high point was 7300m and Pemba Tenzing high point was 7100m. The team returned to Kathmandu on 31 Dec and will leave on 8 Jan 07.
