| Route Notes | BC at Khumbu Glacier C1 at usual campsite C2 at usual campsite C3 at usual campsite C4 at South Col High point at C4. Joung, Kyu-Jin Lee, Seung Lee, Seo and Son all five climbers waiting for their summit bid. The team had to help in rescue work of 2 members Kwak (Miss) and Lee Sang-Bae of Korean Dream Everest Expedition from South Col. Injured Korean members were brought down to South Col by the members and Sherpas of Korean Chung-Dong 100th Anniversary Everest Expedition. The injured climbers were brought down to BC and evacuated by helicopter to Kathmandu. The Lhotse expedition team returned to Kathmandu on May 25 and will leave on 29. High point for leader Om and Hoon-Jae Lee was C2 on April 22. |
