Route Notes Fixed rope: from C3 to C4. Summit: left C4 at 2 am on 20 May and reached the summit at 11 am, spent 10 minutes on the summit (along with Adventure International's group). Return: Arrived at C4 at 3 pm; the following day to C2 at 4 pm, then base camp at 5 pm on 22nd. Weather: very strong wind and very cold (very numb fingers). Notes: Mrs Badia Bonilla is also the first Mexican woman to have scaled three 8000m peaks. They have plans to climb Makalu together next year - maybe spring.
