Route Notes C1 at top of Icefall C4 below couloir. 15 May Kashakashvili and Pemba Nuru on summit with Pustelnik. Left C4 at 8:00 am and on top 7:00 pm and slept in C4. From summit Kashakashvili looked at ridge to middle summit which he had planned to reach also but saw ridge very sharp and difficult (had planned to sleep one night between summits) and also had avalanche problems and weather not good. 21 May summiters left C4 at 7:00 am and on top 12:00 pm, much faster than 15 May team because 15 May team had to fix ropes as they climbed. One avalanche 10 May hit C3 and buried Russians tent and took 3-4 minutes got occupants rescued; covered by nearly 1m of snow. Members hit by avalanche went down to Dingboche to recover and went to top on 21 May. To climb middle summit, needed one more camp 50-60m below main summit. Kashakashvili wants to try next year.
Accidents 10 May Sokolov shoulder injured by avalanche and Foigt's finger slightly frostbitten
