Route Notes The team arrived 8 Oct at the campsite at the foot of the Tesi Lapcha col (the last camp normally used by Rolwaling trekking groups before crossing to Khumbu). The next day (9 Oct) they moved in the northern direction following the eastern moraine to their moraine camp (ABC) around 5600m. The next day 10 Oct continued along the moraine and stepped onto the glacier (approx. 5700m) and continued until High Camp (C1, 5750-5800m) on Drolambau glacier ESE of Langdak. Langdak is a fairly easy 3-4 hour climb from High Camp with a last short climb 20m of steep ice climbing. 6 of the 9 expedition members and 2 HA Sherpas (Pemba Rita Sherpa and Daringi Sherpa) in High Camp left for the summit around 3:00 hours. All 6 members and two HA Sherpa's reached the summit. No fixed rope was used except for the last ice climb. This was installed by two HA Sherpas. First team member was Thom Bogaard (expedition leader). The rest followed quickly. Summit time of the group was 6:15-7:00 hours 11 Oct. They left the summit at 7:30 hours, and returned 1.5-2 hours later back to High Camp, relaxed, had a early lunch and packed everything and walked down to the moraine camp east side of Drolambau Glacier. The day after they walked straight to Eagles Nest camp (skipping the Tesi Lapcha camp). Hendrik van Bilderbeek did not go with the group from High Camp as he was unfit due to 2 weeks of health problems. Renske Stoker and Marcel Van Lienden left the expedition at Na village after Van Lienden got altitude sickenss on Yalung Ri during the acclimatization climb.
