Stayed in Pokhara for 3 nights delayed to arrive BC. 3 lost days affected the climbing programme. Arrived BC on 2 Jan 2006. On next day 3 Jan 2006, they attacked to the summit from BC altitude at 5200m. All Japanese members including 4 Nepalese climbers up to 6100m. Due to strong wind, insufficiency of 200m more fixed rope and time latitude, they abandoned climbing on same day. All four Tamangs are full brothers. |
