Route Notes BC above Kaya Khola ABC at normal Putha Hiunchuli BC C1 on East Ridge. 9 Oct up to C1 site at 5100m and down to ABC. 10 Oct for C1 site for lunch and up to 5800m where actually slept in true C1. 11 Oct to top. Prieto also in C1 but only to 6000m to point East Ridge meets South Ridge and stopped (very tired). Vidal took 4 hours from 5800m to top at 9:30 am and slept that in night at ABC. Difficult mountain: wall of 50-degree ice climbing and with only one ice axe.
