Route Notes BC at Lunding Kharka ABC at lake Tsho Og southeast end C1 on plateau near top of icefall C2 on NE Ridge. "The ridge was really hard." Icefall not problem but ridge really steep and had only 6 people to work on ridge, fixing ropes (no Sherpas, not all 9 members capable of fixing ropes). Above C2 was mixed loose snow and hard ice with snow mushrooms. After abandoning attempt on Khatang, Kwangde Nup climbed from ABC by Emmert, Reinhard, Wahlhaeuser and Dawa Tamang on 22 Oct and on 23rd by Ripplinger and Leitenstorfer via south side, a glacier with some seracs, not steep or difficult.
