Route Notes C1 fixed on Oct 10 and returned to BC except Miss Pulvirenti who went with trekking group. On 11th the leader suddenly got sick - kidney. The night of 12th the situation remained same. Decided to evacuate him. On 15th leader and Dr. Cotta-Ramusino left for Kathmandu by helicopter around 12:30 hours. Left Nepal on 17th. On 14th the team members went up to C1 and collected their belongings. The group trekked across Thorung La.
