Route Notes BC at usual base site (Nar Khola) C1 below icefall C2 under shoulder of West Ridge on SW Face. 22 Sept all members and 1 Sherpa left C2 at 5:30 am: Nakase had altitude problems and stopped at noon at 6700m with emergency tent while others went on to summit which reached at 2:00 pm in easy climb in good snow condition; returned to C2 at 7:30 pm. Had fixed no rope on ascent but on descent to help some, Nakase used 2 pitons and climbing rope. Had reached Nakase's tent at 3:30 pm where he was in same condition as when he stopped climbing. All slept in C2 22nd, ABC 23rd and BC 24th.
