Route Notes BC at Meta (deserted village) C1 at bottom of small SW Ridge to Pt 6981m on Round Annapurna map C2 on West Face before Pt 6981m between 2 ridges C3 directly below NW Ridge leading to Pt 6981m. From C1 climbed face between SW & NW Ridges leading to point 6981 (summit) on Round Annapurna map: W Face to NW Ridge. All 5 members went to C3 on 20th but Dal Santo not well enough on 21st to go top (not altitude problem) so descended instead. We are very happy because we are not professionals but climb for pleasure. Summit party started up from C3 at 3:30 am on 21st and were on top at 10:30 am, spent 30 minutes on summit and down to C2. Next day in BC 22nd. Left BC 24th.
