Route Notes BC at Pangpema (normal site) C3 on North Face. Waited a day in C3 for wind to drop which it did; much wind from South Face through Col. Route not very difficult technically. No sign of Chamoux, Royer or Rutkiewicz. Route very much snow as British (Scott) route in 1989, but from C3 to summit went to right slightly; essentially same. De Pablo was with other 3 members in summit push on 6 May, but toes getting cold and turned back at 8300m.
Accidents De Pablo slight frostbite of toes (so turned back from summit bid)
Achievement Inurrategi's only brothers to have scaled more than one 8000er
