| Route Notes | BC 08/10 5479m C1 11/10 6070m C2 12/10 6200m C3 13/10 6900m C4 14/10 7500m HPt 16/10 8400m by Tseng, Nima Gyalzen, Gelje, Dakipa, Pasang Rinji at 1 pm. On 15/10 Nima Gyalzen, Gelje and Pasang Rinji fixed the rope to 8000m near the couloirs. They returned to C4 at about 3:30 pm, had a rest and at 5:45 pm on 15/10 the summit team started their summit push. Nima Gyalzen and Gelje went ahead to fix the route to the summit. They spent about 30 mins on the summit and descended to C4, where they arrived at 6 pm on 16/10. On 17/10 all at BC. Oxygen: Taken and used from C4 to summit C4 by all summiters. Left BC on 18/10 by heli from BC to Kathmandu everyone. Fixed rope: 2000m all the way on the mountain Note: It was determined in Dec 2022 that this team followed the wrong route to the summit and stopped at approximately 8400m+ thinking that they had summited. |
