Route Notes Excerpted Imagine Treks website: Here we start our 2018 Kangchenjunga expedition. We have one member, three Sherpas and leader Mingma Gyalje. 10-04-2018: Our Kangchenjunga Sherpas Phur Geljen and Nawang Rakpe have departed from Kathmandu for the preparation of expedition. 20-05-2018: Today our team (one member and Ms. Nima Jangmu Sherpa) and leader Mingma Gyalje head to the Kangchenjunga BC. 21-05-2018: Today our team reached C2. Tomorrow morning our team will move to C3. 22-05-2018: This morning 10 am our team reached C3. Our team plans to leave C3 for summit at 7 pm tonight. 23-05-2018: Our team reached Kangchenjunga summit this morning. Congratulations to our member Ms. Dong Hong-Juan and leader Mingma Gyalje and Sherpas Phur Geljen, Nawang Rakpe and Ms. Nima Jangmu. Nima Jangmu Sherpa made historic ascent on Kangchenjunga. She became first lady to climb 3x8000m peaks (Everest, Lhotse and Kangchenjunga) in one season, i.e., in 25 days. She also became first and only Nepalese female on Kangchenjunga in first season 2018, she has not just showed her physical strength and willpower, but also showed that women can do same thing as what men do (women's empowerment). Congratulations to Nima Jangmu Sherpa and thanks for inspiring other (women) in around the world. 12:00 pm: Our team arrived back to C3 and they are going to take one hour rest and then will continue to descend down. 05:00 pm: Our Kangchenjunga team members safely arrived back to base camp. We are very thankful to our strong Sherpa team for this successful and historic ascent. 27-05-2018: Today our team will arrive to Kathmandu and Everest Summiter Club has organised the congratulatins program to Nima Jangmu Sherpa for making world record (3x8000m in one season). Here we conclude our 2018 Kangchenjunga expedition with great achievement.
