Route Notes BC 05 Apr 4500m C1 10 Apr 6200m C2 11 Apr 6400m C3 02 May 7000m C4 19 May 7300m Smt 20 May by Kim, Park Nam Soo at 3:35 pm. Summit team and Park Sang-Hun left C4 at 6 pm on 19 May. Weather was good and not windy. When they reached 8100m, the fixed rope was finished and they had to climb alpine-style. When Park Sang-Hun reached 8400m at about 2 am, his oxygen was finished. He descended to C4. The others carried on and reached the summit at 3:35 pm. They stayed 5 minutes on the summit. Kim descended first. Park Nam-Soo's oxygen finished at 8400m. He was very tired and must have slipped on the ice at about 7600m. Kim was in front of him and did not notice. According to Cadiach, Kim did not say anything about the missing Nam-Soo, when they were at C4 together. Kim arrived at C4 at 3 am. He was with Oscar Cadiach. On 22 May he descended to BC. On 28 May they left BC by helicopter. The Sherpas found Nam-Soo's body and brought him to Kathmandu. Park Hyun-Su reached C3 on 2 May on acclimatization rotation. He did not feel well and did not try for the summit. Oxygen: Taken and used from C4 to summit to 8400m by members
