Route Notes BC 15 Apr 5500m C1 23 Apr 6200m C2 24 Apr 6400m C3 15 May 7100m C4 18 May 7600m HPt 19 May 8086m by Kondo, Kurahashi, Bibas Gurung, Chhepi Bhote, Mingmar Tamang at 6 am. Team left C4 at 8 pm on 18 May. Weather and snow conditions were good. When they reached 8086m there was no fixed rope and the weather turned bad, so they decided to turn back. They were also tired from the expedition as the distances between the camps were very big. They descended in a white-out. Kondo reached C3, where he arrived at 10 am, Kurahashi descended to C2, where he arrived at 1 pm. On 20 May everybody descended to BC and left BC on 23 May. Oxygen: taken and used Kondo from C3 to high point to C3. Kurahashi from C4 to high point to C4. Sherpas from C4 to high point to C4.
