Route Notes Sherpas: Nima Dorje (Beding) had climbed almost all the 8000m peaks in Nepal; had climbed Everest. Pemba Norbu (Beding) 26 years old (this was his first 8000er). The summit team left C4, on top at 2:00 pm. They spent 15 minutes on top and went down to C4 in 4 hours. It was a perfect summit day (in terms of weather). The whole team reached the summit without the use oxygen. Adrian Cole got frostbite on summit day. His fingers and toes were slightly purple; he will lose a little bit of skin but nothing else. John Foden used oxygen on 16 May from C2 to C3 due to altitude sickness he had very slight cerebral edema, but was Ok once he got to C3. John Foden and Roderick McArthur attempted to climb to summit but only got to C4 and returned due to Foden's illness. Neil Greenwood left BC on 19 April; he had severe intestinal problems, cramping and dysentery. * Almost everyone got to C4 and had a great expedition. * Koreans fixed most of the rope. * Koreans sirdar was killed by a falling serac fell and killed him (at C3).
