Other Summits Kagmara Ri (a hill above Kagmara La)

Route Notes BC just below Kagmara La on its west side High point at N Face. 10th Nov recce day from top of Kagmara Ri (5370m) on opposite side of Kagmara La on N and had magnificent view of N Face of Kagmara I and hidden valley below the face; decided to approach valley from between Kagmara La and mountain. 11th climbed to top of icefall at 5300m, climbed into valley; was waist deep snow. 12th reached N Face and tested snow which was unconsolidated and too dangerous. Made no biv or camp above BC; snow which was left by heavy snowfall in early Oct which stayed in cold weather.
