Route Notes BC at north side of Lunag Glacier High point on South Ridge. Planned to make movie about Sherpas and Pakistanis as friends and to go to unclimbed peak together. Left cache of equipment at C1 for next autumn. Both members climbed together with Krishna Bahadur Tamang. Fixed 1000m because very steep 80-degree ice climbing in some sections; oute mixed rock and ice most of the way; many cornices but not serious problem. Stopped at 6050m because ran out of rope. This climb was a reconnaissance for a climb next autumn. Hired: Krishna Bahadur Tamang, 25/9/68, Kanku-5, Solu, Everest X3, Cho Oyu X3
