Route Notes Climb abandoned when on North Ridge because very narrow, knife-edged and to proceed further required fixed rope, but they had only their short climbing rope with them. Kato arrived in Nepal 6 Oct and left KTM for mountain 10 Oct; returned to KTM 12 Nov and left 20 Nov. Kato also climbed two other minor peaks: (1) October 26, "Namy" peak, 6084m, located south of Jomsom Himal, which most likely is the same peak the Paolo Grobel's team climbed in 2003 under the name Thansunjiti. (2) October 30, "Yury" peak, 6130m, located northwest of Jomsom Himal. Pasang Tamang (18/9/2025)
