Route Notes 8th Dec Park Sung-Man, Shin and Song and 2 Sherpas try from C4 for top but very strong wind and reached 7500m. 9 Dec leader and same 2 Sherpas from C4 at 6:10 am and on top 2:40 pm; again strong wind and left 2:55 pm to C4 6:20 pm. Did not follow planned route above C1 because 3 big snow avalanches and no snow: all rock and hard ice, so moved eastwards up easy rock spur (Eperm des Jeunes) to snow face. C2 to C3 knife ridge but easy. 1400m fixed rope all route. No accidents, except Shin got frostbitten fingers on summit-attempt day (may not lose any part of finger). All members to C4.
