Route Notes	BC at Yamotari Glacier Biv on East Ridge High point at plateau on East Ridge. Jannu 2008 - 28 October 2008 The team arrived in Kathmandu on 6 September and three days later flew to Biratnagar, next day to Taplejung. They trekked to BC, which they reached on 20 October while "it was always raining." On 2 Oct the two members started up without any Sherpas from BC via the 1962 French route to 5100m, where they bivouacked on a small glacier. The next day they reached 5900m and camped on a small plateau at the end the small glacier. This was an acclimatization trip, and they descended to BC on the 4th. They stayed in BC till the 10th with snow falling and wind blowing at BC. On the 10th they returned to 5900m. On the 12th they climbed up the East Ridge to 6300m, and on the 13th up to a plateau at 6500m. But now the strong wind was blowing at 50-70 km/hr, and on the 14th they returned to BC. The climb was over. They left BC on 16th Oct and trekked to Taplejung, where they boarded a bus to Biratnagar when there weren't any flights out of Taplejung, and then another bus to Kathmandu, where they arrived on the 25th.
