Route Notes BC at Yalung Glacier near point at 4621m on Japanese map. "Only one without snowing and because face is difficult there should be 5-6 days of good weather but this time always avalanches." Never set foot on face. Mornings were clear weather and members packed up ready to start climb in afternoon and climb all night, but snow started in afternoons between 1:00 and 3:00 pm (even in mornings a few days) and not possible to go up with avalanching constantly. Perhaps Jan-Feb better when colder: maybe more difficult but safer.
