Route Notes Boehm and Prakash Sherpa made a speed ascent of Himlung on 4 Sept in 6 hrs and 43 min, and a ski descent down to BC. Round trip was 9 hrs and 39 min. Alpinist Climber Expeditions Facebook (31 Aug 2022) Himlung summit 7126m update. @alpinistclimberexpeditions team stood on the summit of Himlung Himal 7126m this morning 31/08 at 10:41 am. The team: Benedikt Boehm Prakash Sherpa This summit was a part of their final project. Everyone is safely back to base camp where they will rest for a few days before the final speed push. Report from Boehm and Prakash: First Summit: BC 23/98 4850m C1 28/08 5450m C2 30.08 6100m Smt 31/08 by Boehm and Prakash Sherpa at 10:40 am. Start time 5:41 am from C2 and summited 10:40 am and back to base camp same day. Second Summit: Base camp to summit 4 September (speed ascent) Start time midnight, 00:30 from base camp and reached summit early in the morning but don’t exactly the time (climbing up 6 hours 43 minutes). Total up and down 9 hours 39 minutes, distance 20.12 km. Left BC on 5 September.
