Route Notes BC 03/10 at 4800m C1 09/10 at 5450m C2 10/10 at 6050m Smt 15/10 by Bertuletti, Dawa Tenzing Sherpa 11 am. Dawa Tenzing and Bertuletti left C2 at 1 am. Weather was clear but windy. Snow conditions were good. They used the fixed ropes that were already there. They stayed about 45 minutes on the summit and descended to C2, where they stayed the night. Regazzoni reached C2 on 10/10 and 14/10. He did not feel well during the night of 10/10 (his first stay). He had breathing problems and put on the medical oxygen and the team descended to C1 the same night. On 11/10 they got back to BC. Regazzoni decided that he would not go for the summit, but accompanied Bertuletti on his summit push to C2, but did not stay the night. Team left BC on 18/10. Note: Regazzoni summited on 2 Nov with Tapchen Bhote after main team left. Sherpa: Dawa Tenzing, Thamo, 21/03/1986 Oxygen: Medical taken and used at C2 by Regazzoni From just below the summit and down to 6300m by Bertuletti. Fixed rope: None
