Route Notes BC 22/10 4925m C1 26/10 5435m C2 27/10 6050m Smt 02/11 Gilbert, Bire Tamang at 10 am. Team started from C2 around 12:30 am. Celecia ran out of steam and turned around with Janga Rai at 6500m. Utter was very cold and he was afraid of getting frostbite, he turned around with Lhakpa at 7000m. They descended to C2 where they waited for others. Gilbert and Bire Tamang summitted at 10 am. Stayed on top for 30 minutes, it was freezing cold, then descended to C2 (arrival: 12 pm). They met Utter, Celecia, Lhakpa and Janga at C2 and all went down together to C1 (arrival: 5 pm). Hicks suffered from chest infection and couldn't go higher than C1. She slept at C1 on 31 Oct and went to BC the next day where she waited for others. Team left BC on 5 Nov. Oxygen: Not used, taken to C2 for emergency. Hired: Janga Rai, Kharikhola, 28 years old Bire Tamang, Makalu, 24-25 years old, on Everest 2016-2017 with 7 Summits Lhakpa Sherpa, Makalu-9, Makalu-Barun, 20/09/1986
