Route Notes BC 24/09 4750m C1 29/09 5400m C2 04/10 6100m HPt 05/10 6420m by all members apart from Thomsen, Bauer, Radlsbeck, Thum, Kleine High point team left C2 at 4 am for summit attempt. They reached the North Col at about 6:45 am, but decided to turn back due to too much snow and avalanche danger. Radlsbeck reached C2 on 4 Oct; she did not join the summit push due to lack of motivation. Thomsen reached C1 on 29 Sept; she abandoned climb due to a slipped disc. Bauer and Kleine reached C1 on 29 Sept. Kleine did not want to continue after the avalanche killed a [Kobler] Sherpa on 27 Sept. Bauer abandoned climb out of solidarity. Thum reached C1 on 27 Sept. On his descent he slipped on moraine and fell for about 40m. He was very bruised and left BC the same day with the helicopter, which was looking for the deceased Sherpa (avalanche). Oxygen: not taken, not used Fixed rope: 800m
