Route Notes Expedition diary extracted from Ben Grenon blog: 29 Oct - arrived at BC (4885m). 30 Oct - puja and training session (jumar and rapelling). 31 Oct - first climb to C1 site (5500m), return to BC. 01 Nov - rest day; Koslowski evacuated by helicopter for AMS. 02 Nov - started at 9 am for C1, arrived at 5 pm. 03 Nov - climbed to C2 at 6000m in 5 hours. 04 Nov - return to BC. 05 Nov - rest day. 06 Nov - rest day. 07 Nov - start of summit attempt, climbed to C1. 08 Nov - climbed to C2. 09 Nov - dismantled C2 and moved it up to C3 (6200m). 10 Nov - team departed for summit at 1:30 am. summits by Harling, Bracq, Grenon, Lhakpa and Phurba at 11:30 am. Johnson turns back at 6350m at 2:30 am. Perrodon turns back at 6600m at 4:30 am. Junga Rai turns back at 6630m due to toe frostbite. 11 Nov - returned to BC from C3. 12 Nov - returned to Kathmandu by helicopter.
