Route Notes BC north of 5435m on trekking map C1 east-northeast of point 5435m C2 just below summit of 6450m peak High point at bottom of West Face. Himlung very difficult to see because hidden from West Dome 6392m on map but actually 6450m. Himlung is small pyramid not visible from BC and C1. 24 Sept went towards Himlung top but very difficult ice face at end. Went to this face which is reached by sharp ridge from point 6392m/6450m. Returned to BC 24th. 26th to Phugaon and returned by Larkya Pass and helicopter from Samagaon. Ice face not only difficult, but dangerous avalanche threat.
