Route Notes BC east-northeast of mountain north of Lidandu Col ABC at Lidandu Col east of north C1 on plateau east of Rani Peak C2 on South Ridge of Rani Peak C3 on plateau northeast of summit C4 on NE Face C5 on NW Ridge bergschrund C6 on NW Ridge. 21 km from BC to summit. Summit party left C4 at 3:50 am 19 May, on top 9:30 am of 19 May, to C4 about 8:00 pm. NW Face very difficult; very steep (60 degrees in middle section), but section of 80-degree very hard ice). Ridge not technical, but bad rock and snow, so climbed 100m down from ridge on right side for 800m. On descent no sleeping bags in C6 and C5 crushed by snow, so had to go to C4 to sleep on 19th. 20th May to C3, 21st to C1, and 22nd to BC.
