| Route Notes | The team could not do much climbing due to illness of three members. Jean-Charles Boghossian got altitude sickness and stomach problem at BC. Isabelle Boghossian too got stomach problem. Both left BC on 28 Oct They expected to be in Kathmandu on 12 Nov and probably leave on 13 Nov. Fragniere and Vonlanthen went up to C1 on 30 Oct. Vonlanthen most of the time suffered from giardia. He gave up climbing on 30 Oct. Leader Fragniere went up to 6000m on 29 Oct to bring down climbing gear. From the afternoon of 3 Oct until morning of 1 Nov there was snowfall and storm. When they left BC the weather started getting better. |
