Route Notes BC at standard Fluted Peak BC east of Fluted Peak on west bank of glacier C1 at east bank of glacier, west of south end of South Ridge High point on west side of South Ridge. Made C1, down to BC (Wood ill and others not so well either). Started up again. Now only 2 members. On 21st Baqai and Foster to C1. 22nd up and down carrying loads and on 23rd Foster to C1 with doctor. 24th doctor down (climb was too much) and Foster up alone to see how high he could get and to establish C2 at perhaps 6100-6200m. Stopped at 5800m because of rockfall, loose rock with no snow or ice, too slow progress alone and steep route. Left BC 29th Oct. Had descended to BC on 25th.
