Route Notes 1st BC just below border on Schneider map halfway between O & L of Rolwaling 2nd BC east of 1st BC, NNE of L 3rd BC north of point 6037m on Tseringma Glacier. Most difficult between 3rd BC and C1: very steep rock. Above this sharp ridge of ice, snow and rock mixed. Ridge better than Roskelley route because not his route all ice face. Followed exactly same line as Ang Kami and Culbreth followed in 1984 spring. Had lot of snowfall and had to send to KTM twice for more food and gas, and even so were running out of food and fuel by mid-January, so no other summit bids. Also had 3 days wind and snow about 27 Dec and tents broken. 16 January Jangbu went with summit pair to 150m below top, then turned back because boots letting in too much cold.
Accidents Lee Hee-Bong sick 10 days; Seong slight frostbite one finger
