Route Notes Occupied C1 on 1 Oct; from C1 to 5450m on North Ridge and retreated because rocks little and big so loose, like a house of cards; rock was so terrible as went higher, loose rocks but bigger. Route not in condition for ascent because too rocky and difficulties did not cease higher up. There even were huge icicles hanging down from the rocks. Roskelley's NE Ridge was not same at that of Japanese in aut 1997; there are several NE ribs and ridges.
